Adam Dennison, D.C.
Dr. Adam Dennison, who grew up just down the road in Dumfries, VA graduated from Averett University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. Dr. Dennison graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College of Florida with a Doctorate in Chiropractic.
Dr. Dennison has trained in numerous soft tissue techniques including Myofascial release and trigger point therapy. He is also certified in Graston Technique which is an evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively address scar tissue and fascial restrictions through comprehensive training, resulting in improved patient outcomes. It gives the ability to treat problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow have all been treated successfully using this technique. Graston is often used to treat top athletes around the country.
As a former collegiate athlete playing soccer for the Averett Men’s soccer team, Dr. Dennison has a special interest in sports medicine and understands the need for patients to heal quickly without compromising the integrity of their bodies. This specialty in sports has lead him to become successful in treating numerous athletes.
Dr. Dennison has spent the last 6 years working with some of the top chiropractors in Northern Virginia and South Carolina. He is extremely excited about being part of the team at Haymarket Chiropractic and Rehabilitation.
